This month’s Meet the Artist Reception will feature the work of Bridget Marcus. Born in South Africa, some of Bridget’s happiest memories were of being in the "bush" and spending endless hours observing birds & their behaviors.

Immigrating to the Midwest United States, she embarked on a journey to capture birds in their miracle of nature and the uniqueness of each bird in its ecosystem in pastels. In her "Flight Patterns" series, the backgrounds represent an "African" pattern seen in fabric and indigenous art forms.

Bridget will give a gallery talk about her artistic journey. Join us Sunday, December 11th at 1:30 pm in the Celebration Center at Pines Village. Refreshments will be served.
